The device consists of a bolt plate (20), which is mobile, and is mounted on a rigid element (13), in such a way as to be able to pivot around a primary axis (14), between an open position, which allows the displacement of the leg with reference to the rigid element and where the bolt plate opposes the action of the handle (9). The alternative position is a closed position, where the bolt plate is used to retain the leg in its closed position, with the bearing plate (7) conveniently located in its housing (3) and the bolt plate does not oppose the action of the handle. A retaining bracket (16) is fixed rigidly to the mounting element and is designed to retain the bolt plate (20) in the closed position, in the case of any tendency for the bearing plate (7) to come out of its housing (3).
