A microscope system provided with an observation unit (70) and photographing unit (71) comprises a changing section (76) and adjusting section (77). The operator of this system can change the attribute of at least one of the switches provided on a transparent touch panel (72) on the displaying surface of a display device (72A) by operating the changing section (76). The adjusting section (77) adjusts the switches, a registering section (75), and control section (74) so that the attribute of the switch can be changed and the units (70 and 71) can operate in corresponding to the changed attribute.
