MEASURING METHOD AND APPARATUS OF AUDIO SIGNAL DISTORTION

extracting a masking threshold (LTg(i)) value of the human hearing characteristics from a power spectrum(X(k)) of an input signal(x(n)); evaluating an error power spectrum(E(i)) for getting a power spectrum of an error signal(e(n)) which is a difference of an input signal(x(n)) and an output signal(y(n)) in the time domain; and evaluating a detected distortion, which is a normalized value in the whole frequency range, after adding only the spectrum(E(i)) value corresponding to the error signal(e(n)) which is greater than the masking threshold value(LTg(i)); thereby achieving a quantifying of an audio distortion measurement.
