The balls are held in a raised container (1), supported by a frame, which is extended by an inclined ramp. A pivoting channel (13) is joined to the frame at the end of the ramp. It rocks between a raised position and a lowered position in which its free end (16) is vertically above the tee. A flap (19), joined to the back end of the channel, retracts under it when the channel is raised, allowing a ball to pass into the channel. When it is lowered the flap closes the end of the ramp to stop other balls.
