FIELD: cooling of articles by flow of atomized finely dispersed liquid which is formed due to ejection effect. SUBSTANCE: unit has cooler with hollow housing and generator spraying cooling liquid and creating the flow of highly-dispersed air-and-liquid mixture. Cooler has horizontal housing provided with fixed branch pipes for feeding and discharging highly-dispersed air-and-liquid mixture; housing is also provided with device for placing the cooler inside housing and securing articles in it and devices for motion of cooler housing together with articles placed inside it relative to cooling liquid supply and discharge branch pipes. Multi-jet injector is also provided which is mounted outside supply branch pipe which is generator of flow of highly-dispersed air-and-liquid mixture, above inlet portion.
