FIELD: apparatus for determining various parameters of liquids. SUBSTANCE: device is used for simultaneous and independent measuring of density, dynamic and kinematic viscosity of continuously moving liquids and can be also used for checking rheological parameters of technological processes in petrochemical, paint-production, food and other branches of industry. Device incorporates measuring unit, control unit, calculation unit, and indication unit. Measuring unit has chamber, and continuously flowing through this chamber is liquid under investigation. Immersed in this liquid is magnetic field of solenoid. Control unit periodically switches device from core levitation condition at which solenoid current is measured depending on density, to mode of its free falling at which measured is period of uniform lowering of core depending on viscosity of liquid, with subsequent rising and returning of core to condition of levitation. Calculation unit according to measured values of solenoid current and core free falling period determines desired values of density, dynamic and kinematic viscosity and converts them into digital form. EFFECT: high efficiency. |
