The invention relates to a method of constructing a display unit, and to a display unit (1) thus constructed. The display unit comprises a frame structure (2) and a cloth-like exposable surface (6a'). Opposing surface-associated edge-parts (61, 62) each have first parts (7a) of a respective two-part fastener means (7), where corresponding second parts (7b) are related to the frame structure (2) and where the exposable surface (6a') is positioned adjacent one part (1a) of the frame structure that faces towards a surface opposite to the exposable surface (6a'). A first fastener part (7a) belonging to one edge-part (61) is caused to coact with a corresponding second fastener part (7b) positioned on or in the vicinity of one edge region (1c) of another part (1b) of the frame structure that faces away from the surface opposite to the exposable surface. The exposable surface (6a') is caused to cover one part (1a) of the frame structure (1), and a first fastener part (7a) belonging to the opposing second edge-part (62) is caused to coact with a corresponding second part (7b) positioned on or in the vicinity of the other edge region (62) of the second part (1d) of the frame structure (1). At least one section (6a') of the exposable surface (6a) covers frame-structure related attachement means (8).
