The character code is inputted to the main processor(3) through the data input part(1) and the judgement is made if the inputted character code is about the line characters. In case it is line characters, read up the line information and the line font corresponding to the inputted character code from the font storage part(4), the main processor(3) according to the information that is read from the font storage(4) adjusts the position of the line. The line font is recorded in the corresponding position of the page frame buffer(5) and judges that the line characters are recorded, outputting lines and characters recorded in the page from the buffer(5) to the engine part through the data output part(6).
