A main memory(120) comprising a RAM and a ROM, and an audio output part(116) is composed of a digital/analog converter(116a) that converts a digital sound signal(accompaniment signal) output from a PCM sound source chip(112) to analog signal, an amplifying part(116b) that amplifies the output signal of the digital/analogue converter and an audio mixer(116c) that outputs accompaniment signal mixed with an user's voice signal through an audio output group(118). On control of the image song accompaniment system, it reads the lyric caption, background image and graphic data at an accompaniment data storage part(150), according to the initial velocity key signal, controling the initialization of the whole system at a main CPU(200).
