<p>A method of manufacturing rolled products, in which a titanium material in the heated state is brought into contact with fluoric gas so as to form a fluoridized film on said material and then is rolled into a product immediately after removal of said fluoridized film. Hence, a passive film such as oxidized film on the titanium material turns into a fluoridized film to protect the surface of said material. Accordingly, even with the lapse of time between formation of a fluoridized film and removal thereof, the fluoridized film formed on the surface of the titanium material protects said surface in favorable condition and, therefore, prevents an oxidized film from being formed again on said surface. <IMAGE></p> |
