A compound of the formula <IMAGE> wherein * denotes an asymmetric carbon; X is C-H, C-F, C-Cl, C-OCH3, C-CF3, or N; R1 is a C1-C4-alkyl, C3-C6-cycloalkyl, or phenyl substituted by one or more halogen atoms; R2 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a cation; R3 is hydrogen, amino, or methyl; V, W, Y, and Z are each independently C-H, oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur; R4 is hydrogen or one, two or three substituents independently selected from C1-C4-alkyl, halo-substituted C1-C4-alkyl, hydroxy-substituted C1-C4-alkyl, halogen, hydroxy, C1-C4-alkoxy, mercapto, amino, mono-(C1-C4-alkyl)amino, di-(C1-C4-alkyl)amino, formamido, mono-(C1-C4-alkyl)amido, di-(C1-C4-alkyl)amido, cyano, nitro, C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, aminomethyl, mono-(C1-C4-alkyl)aminomethyl, di-(C1-C4-alkyl)aminomethyl, wherein free hydroxy and amino groups may be protected; or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition or quaternary ammonium salt thereof.
