Disclosed is a manual gear having forward 6 stages and backward 2 stages for a car. The gear comprises input and output portions. The input portion includes a forward 1 stage gear, a forward 2 stage gear, a backward 1 stage gear, a backward 2 stage gear, a synchronizer for forward 3 and 4 stages and a synchronizer for forward 5 and 6 stages. The output portion includes a synchronizer for forward 1 and 2 stages, a synchronizer for backward 1 and 2 stages, forward 3, 4, 5, 6 stage gears. Thereby, the fuel consumption can be reduced and the drive condition can be optimized, according to the precise gear stages.
