The present invention is to provide a method for testing a signal path between a wire (a stationary) device and a wireless (a portable) device. The method for testing the signal path between the wire and wireless devices according to present invention comprises the steps of: setting up a test mode in a channel between a portable device and a stationary device of a telephone set; transmitting key data of the portable device selected by a user to the stationary device if the test mode is set up, and generating a signal informing the user of normal operation of the telephone set through the portable device if a key data receipt signal transmitted from the stationary device is received by the portable device; and transmitting the key data receipt signal to the portable device through the stationary device if the test mode is set up and the key data of the portable device is transmitted to the stationary device, and generating a signal informing the user of normal operation of the telephone set. Thereby, it is possible to test transmitting and receiving data between the portable device and the stationary device without an additional testing equipment and cost.
