The present invention relates to an emergency lamp control device for an automotive vehicle that can prevent large-scale car accidents by informing another drivers of emergency state. This invention includes an abrupt speed reduction sensing means monitoring an abrupt stop during running; an emergency switch sensing means monitoring the switching state of an emergency switch operated by a user; a control means producing a signal controlling the turning on/off of left and right direction indicator lamps in response to signals produced from the abrupt speed reduction sensing means and the emergency switch sensing means; and a driving means repeating the turning on/off of the left and right direction indicator lamps in response to the control signal out of the control means.
