摘要 The plant is formed with a feed-in groove (3) for cans or bottles and with a stop (5) at the end of the groove. A scanner (9) is provided for reading a bar code (8) on the can (4), bottle or other soft package and a device is available for feeding away non-accepted items. A component records the types of articles and further components control continuous handling, destruction and volume reduction of cans, bottles or soft packages. The plant incorporates a device for destroying cans, bottles or soft packages and comprises on each side of the feed-in channel (3) gearwheel-shaped clamp rollers (6) or clamp jaws pressing the cans or bottles together crossways to their cover surfaces. The article recording unit form an external communication continuously updates and a further device provides control data to the device for the destruction and volume reduction of packages.
