This portable electric work machine (1) is provided with: a battery pack (200) provided with a battery (210) and a memory (230); and a work-machine main body (100). The work-machine main body (100) is provided with: a work unit (130) for performing prescribed work; a work-machine controller (111); and a memory (113). When the battery pack (200) is attached to the work-machine main body (100), information corresponding to information related to the recording of operation of the work unit (130) and stored in memory (230) is saved in memory (113).
