Provided is an electrode for a non-aqueous secondary cell with which cycle characteristics can be improved. A negative electrode 1 for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell has a collector (21), and an active material layer (10) formed on the surface of the collector (21), the active material layer (10) containing an active material (11), a binder (14), and a graphite material (12). The active material (11) contains a material in which an organic substance (11a) having one or more functional groups selected from the group consisting of a phenylamino group, an imidazole group, and an amino group is bonded to the surface of SiOx particles. The binder (14) comprises a water-soluble polymer comprising acrylic acid or a salt thereof. |
