Provided is a shock-absorbing device that improves guiding ability while maintaining the sliding amount of a shock-absorbing member. This shock-absorbing device (10) is equipped with a case member (20), a shock-absorbing member (30), and a spring (60). The case member (20) has a bottom section (21), a shaft section (23), and a peripheral wall (25), and the shock-absorbing member (30) has an inner tube (41), an outer tube (43), and a spring-receiving part (43a). A retaining means for preventing the shock-absorbing member (30) from detaching from the case member (20) is provided between the case member (20) and the shock-absorbing member (30). The outer periphery of the outer tube (43) of the shock-absorbing member (30) is arranged at the inner periphery of the peripheral wall (25) of the case member (20), thereby forming a first guide during sliding of the shock-absorbing member (30), and the inner periphery of the inner tube (41) of the shock-absorbing member (30) is arranged at the outer periphery of the shaft section (23) of the case member (20), thereby forming a second guide during sliding of the shock-absorbing member (30). |
