FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: automatic device has immovable support positioned on frame and coupled to crosspiece by means of parallel guide columns, slider with screw gear, and two electric motors. One motor serves for automatic operation of auto operator which controls position of blank. Device is also provided with two worm reduction gears. One of them serves to reduce linear speed of slider, and the other is used as rack gear drive. Toothed rack of rack gear is installed perpendicularly to slider axis. It carries grip fixed to its end facing the slider. Rack has stops which give signal for operation of limit switches. Automatic device may be used for mandrelling, calibration and reduction operations. EFFECT: high accuracy of part dimensions. 1 dwgd
