Noise damping a floor construction resting on a high elasticity insulation material, pref. an elastomer onto which the floor has been applied, comprises forming a floating layer of floor and insulation material using an elastic material, pref. a polyether foam with a density of 170-200 kg/m3, applied onto the base.
