FIELD: welding equipment used for contact welding of small-diameter and small-thickness wires for manufacture of products in different branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: power source has rectifier, transistors, first and second diodes, discharge thyristors, capacitors, resistors, suppression circuit and welding transformer. Power source is further provided with transistor control units, comparators, N-input AND gate, digital-to-analog converters, programmed frequency divider, decoder, blocking device, interface unit, key, pulse generator.
