A device for effectively preventing a shirt or blouse from slipping up, and eliminating any damage to the shirt or the like and any injuries to the human skin. The device comprises a backing material (2) mounted to an inside of a waist portion (W) of clothes such as trousers, and an elastic nonslip material (3) laterally extended or laterally and intermittently provided or dotted in a lateral direction and in a vertical direction so as to protrude a predetermined height in a direction of a human waist, the nonslip material (3) being constructed such that its tip end is formed in the form of a flat surface (3A), its side surface (3B) is formed to cross the flat surface (3A), and a border between the flat surface (3A) and the side surface (3B) is formed to provide an edge portion (3C) at least on its lower side.
