Intake control for turbo machines and IC engines

The intake has a straight main intake channel, and a swirl-generating swirl guide channel. The channel (6) has a spiral or serpentine shape, and is positioned in the housing (1) to be turnable or displaceable. It also has fixed or adjustable guide blades. The discharge end (7) of the swirl/guide channel is turnable in the intake (5) of the main intake channel (4). Both channels are throttled together and at the same time using a single internal closure body (14). The housing contains a filter and a cooler.
