PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner in which during unloaded operation the motor-operated expansion valve of the indoor heat exchanger does not give so-called inverse response. SOLUTION: In this air-conditioning apparatus an ice storage tank 17 is provided between an outdoor heat exchanger 5 and indoor heat exchangers 43, 45 in a setup to effect cooling operation by leading refrigerant cooled by the ice storage tank 17 to the indoor heat exchangers 43, 45. In this instance there is provided a means MV1 for controlling the temperature of the refrigerant which is led to the indoor heat exchangers 43, 45, by which means the temperature E3 of the refrigerant, having being cooled by the ice storage tank 17 and to be led to the indoor heat exchangers 43, 45, is made higher than the evaporative temperature E2 of the indoor heat exchangers 43, 45. |
