<p>An improved urethral cap (10) for alleviating urinary incontinence when positioned on the body of the user, is provided. The improved urethral cap (10) includes a body portion (11) defining an interior chamber (12), the chamber (12) providing a vacuum therein to hold the urethral cap (10) in contact with the body of the user. The cap further includes at least one flange (13) supported by the body portion (11), the flange (13) having a thickness of less than 0.75 millimeters, and preferably less than 0.5 millimeters. The improved urethral cap (10) has increased flexibility and therefore provides increased comfort to a user when in place over the urethra.</p> |
