FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, cultivation of stubbly soil. SUBSTANCE: working unit has tine, chisel and shearing members fixed on chisel, which is made conical with rounded apex. Portion of chisel base joined to tine has concave surface. Chisel has two parts. Front detachable part is made in the form of wear-resistant conical point. Rear part of chisel is made in the form of truncated elliptical cone. Shearing members are positioned between bases of chisel front and rear parts in plane of junction of these parts and adapted to provide additional soil mellowing. Shearing members are manufactured from high-strength wear-resistant material and provided with odd number of side faces with cutting edges positioned in plane of larger base of pyramid. Each shearing member has central opening. It allows width of horizontal mellowing portion to be increased. Chisel front part base has threaded shank. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and prolonged service life. 5 cl, 4 dwgf
