<p>The invention relates to surface treated medical devices having a first coefficient of friction when untreated and exhibiting a second lower coefficient of friction after ionic bombardment preferably with argon. A composite meterial echogenically imageable and a collapsible dual-lumen hemodialysis catheter are also disclosed.</p>
