<p>An improved coker fractionator system (10) which permits withdrawing from selected ports (52, 60) in the fractionator (12), streams of selected boiling point ranges for recovery of thermal energy and for altering the liquid vapor loading within the column (12) for efficient fraction within the column. The system includes the provision of one or more ports (52, 60) in a fractionation column (12) between the light coker gas oil draw (34) and the heavy coker gas oil draw (36) connected to either a thermal energy recovery pump around system (50) or a recycle system for returning a stream to the coker furnace feed stream.</p> |
