FIELD: forestry, in particular, lumber sawing equipment. SUBSTANCE: circular saw has engine, saw shaft, belt transmission, controlled clutch, reducer, drive gear and auxiliary gear. Drive and auxiliary gears are loosely put onto output shaft of reducer and are normally meshed with toothed wheel. Circular saw is further provided with controlled double-sided clutch progressively movable in grooves, drive sprocket of feeding conveyor and drive sprocket of receiving conveyor. Sprockets are interconnected by chain transmission. EFFECT: reduced power consumption, improved quality of sawn lumber by self-regulation of lumber sawing modes and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwgr
