The invention concerns a condom (10) for medical applications or contraceptive purposes. The condom (10) comprises a resilient tubular body (15) which can be slipped over the male member (11). After being slipped on, the tubular body (15) contracts such that it is stretched firmly about the male member (11). In this way, the slipping of the condom (15) over the male member is facilitated and a more reliable hold of the condom (15) thereon is obtained. |
