<p>A roofing gun attachment (2) for dispensing tin tags (38) includes a base (4), a supply chamber (44) mounted on the base (4) which receives a cartridge (60) containing a plurality of stacked planar tin tags (38), a shuttle (40) slidably disposed within the base (4) for individually displacing the tin tags (38) from a feeding station (10) located below the supply chamber (44) to a nailing station (14) where the tin tag (36) is pierced by a nail discharged from a nailing gun, and a pair of cam arms (96, 98) each connected with a slide member (82) for moving the shuttle (40) between the feeding station (10) and the nailing station (14) when the nailing gun is pressed against a nailing surface and lifted therefrom. The supply chamber (44) includes an access door (76) which allows the tin tag cartridge (60) to be easily replaced and further includes a manually-actuated spring-loaded plunger (62) which biases the tin tags (38) toward the feeding station (10).</p> |
