<p>An environment monitoring system (10) and method systematically and continuously monitoring an environment. The system and method includes a data acquisition system (16) which is programmed to systematically collect environment data for a site (12). The data acquisition system (16) includes sensors (14 a-d) coupled to a data storage device (22) having a remote access device (24) for electronic access from a remote system (18). Data may be uploaded to a remote database (30) for storing environment data from many sites. The remote database (30) includes a remote access device (26) so that the data storage devices (22) of various data acquisition sites can be electronically coupled to the remote database (30) for centralized data collection and storage.</p> |
