FIELD: sampling of substances settling in water. SUBSTANCE: sampler has frame with funnel secured on it for gathering the substance. Lower part of frame includes mechanism secured to it and intended for replacement of accumulating cups. Mechanism is made as two discs fixed coaxially to axle. Upper immovable disc is secured in lower part of funnel, and lower movable disc carries accumulating cups. Accumulating cup replacing mechanism is provided with solenoid coil with spring-loaded rod. The latter is capable of interaction with movable disc and helical spring secured with one end to immovable disc while the other, to movable one through axle coaxial with both discs. Funnel has meshed screen in its upper part. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwgs
