FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction materials industry and can be used in making roofs of buildings. Roof covering component is made of metal for example of galvanized sheet iron. Lateral transitions of overlining part and underlining part of roof covering component are arranged at angle less than 90 deg. so as to ensure cohesion of overlining part with underlining part which is nailed to understructure.
