The object of the invention is a method for repair structures, a dismantling arrangement 2 being used, which belongs to a support arrangement 2a, which is to be placed in connection with the wall structure 1 in an essentially vertical position, and a hoisting platform 2b, which moves essentially horizontally and in connection with which at least one dismantling arrangement, operated by auxiliary power, has been arranged, by means of which arrangement an outer part 1' of the original wall structure 1, such as a sandwich element, is detached from an associated inner part 1" piece by piece. The wall structure 1 is detached by sawing the outer part 1' with the aid of a saw appliance 2c belonging to the dismantling arrangement, such as a diamond saw blade or the like, by moving this in an essentially vertical first rail 2d1, which forms part of a rail arrangement 2d connected to the hoisting platform 2b, which rail arrangement has preferably been supported on some other part of the wall of the structure by means of support elements T, and by then moving the first rail 2d1 essentially horizontally with the aid of a second rail 2d2, preferably one girder interval at a time before performing the subsequent vertical sawing in a corresponding manner.
