摘要 |
FIELD: technology of inspection of cord-like articles, specifically, detonating cords and Bickford fuzes carrying loose substances enclosed in jacket of protective material. SUBSTANCE: article heated in process of manufacture is moved in field of vision of infrared radiometer and thermal field is scanned in longitudinal and lateral directions with frequency equal to relation of movement speed to minimum size of flaw. Frequency of analog-to-digital conversion is chosen equal to relation of scanning frequency to number of elements needed to measure lateral dimensions of object. Digital information is recorded line by line in the form of frame, presence of fallen-out explosive and points with decreased density of explosive is checked by longitudinal distribution and value of temperature, diameter and symmetry of jacket thickness are controlled by cross-section.
