FIELD: chemical technology, in particular, methods of regeneration of catalysts and adsorbents for recovery of their properties. SUBSTANCE: mixture containing catalyst and adsorbent of air purification unit or artificial breathing gas medium is regenerated by its blowing with air or gas-air mixture not containing catalysts poisons at temperature of 100-220 C with specific flow rate of 0.2-1.0 l/min.sq.cm for 40-55 h. Blowing is carried out at normal or decreased pressure equalling 300-600 mm Hg. The method is used for recovery of properties of catalyst and adsorbent of mixture of units and filters for air purification or artificial breathing gas medium directly on the object without their dismantling or recharging.
