SUBSTANCE: method determining velocity of light in moving transparent medium consists in measurement of velocity of movement of medium and light refractive index in it. Velocity of light in moving transparent medium is found from expression W=c(1-v/c)/{n(1-v(1-1/n)/c} +v, where n is refractive index of medium; v is velocity of movement of medium; c is velocity of light in vacuum.
