FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic lock prevents unauthorized access to certain object. Electromagnet in lock is located on movable blocking member. Armature is adapted for possible movement towards electromagnet until coming in contact with it in case of cut-off power supply. At restarting of power supply sufficient for holding armature at poles, blocking member is displaced with purpose of unblocking of lock by applying effort to armature. Application of aforesaid embodiment of electromagnetic lock cuts electric power consumption at unblocking with resulted improvement of independence and possibility of using miniature power supply elements.
