1. A method comprising:
mapping input system parameters to work-determining parameters which act to determine computational requirements of a dynamic workload of a base station, wherein the dynamic workload varies at time frames comprising small units of time; and undertaking a synthetic experiment to measure the computational requirements determined by the work-determining parameters, wherein the undertaking a synthetic experiment comprises: maintaining a value of the work-determining parameters at a constant value over a predetermined interval of time, wherein the predetermined interval of time comprises a plurality of time frames; measuring a resource consumption of the value of the work-determining parameters over the predetermined interval of time; and scaling the measured resource consumption down to a fine-grained frame-duration scale. |
