The mechanical fuel regulator (2) is connected to an electronic control unit (9) for the boat engine (12). The regulator has a wire (3) for transmitting its movement. The wire is connected to an indicator (6, 8) which converts the wire mechanical movement to an electrical dim. which can be detected by the control unit. The indicator is connected to the control unit and comprises a potentiometer. The wire is connected to an arm (8) of the potentiometer for varying the potentiometer resistance. The arrangement consists of a console (1) which is fitted in the boat. In the console, the fuel regulator in the form of a lever is fixed. The lever is pivotably suspended around a rotary axis and can be pivoted forwards and backwards in the console. It can be set in a specific neutral position which corresponds to the idling position of the engine. |
