PURPOSE: To attain a flat characteristic in an audible sense easily by attenuating a reproduction audio signal of a movie software linearly toward high frequencies starting from a specific frequency and correcting the characteristic of the specific high frequency with equalizers A, B whose attenuation is specified to be a specific attenuation. CONSTITUTION: Usual signals L, R and movie software signals LT, RT are received via equalizers 32, 33 whose amplitude characteristic is linearly attenuated toward high frequencies started from 2kHz and whose attenuation being a standard attenuation is -2dB±1dB at 10kHz. When the signals LT, RT are received by a command of an operation means, the inserted equalizers 32, 33 correct the signals LT, RT. Then a control means 36, a surround decoder 34, a main signal synthesis means 40, and main and surround sound field signal generating means 42, 48 process the corrected signals LT, RT. The main signals L, C, R and the surround signal S obtained by the processing are heard at a listening position 12 in a room 10 of a general house by each sound field control speaker. Thus, the movie software is easily reproduced by a flat characteristic in the audible sense. |
