The plastic is injected into an oversize mold (20) cavity (21), which is returned to appropriate dimensions, to complete the curved, flexible, hinged joining section (13, 12a, 12b). The term hinge, here, imports flexibility for angular positioning, rather than frequent pivoting use. Independent claims are included for the corresponding mold and the produced molding. Preferred critical curved profiles of the hinge are defined, in particular the slide end face molds the flexing part of the hinge. Preferred features: The molding volume is limited by a slide, operating close to the hinge position. The slide is retracted for injection, and subsequently advanced to reduce the volume. The hinge flexure material is thinner than the sections it unites. The cross-section of this material is in the form of a half-wave and it is set back from the outer sections. The slide is moved during the dwell pressure phase of molding.
