SUBSTANCE: method involves taking off 5.0 ml of blood from pregnant women vein and blood sample is placed into tube containing heparin and physiological solution. Plasma is obtained by centrifugation and activity of cathepsin G is determined in its. Gestosis of light degree is diagnosed at cathepsin G activity from 10.0 to 8.0 mcmole/min/ml, gestosis of moderate degree at value from 8.0 to 6.0 mcmole/min/ml and severe gestosis at value less 6.0 mcmole/min/ml. Method provides increase of specificity (to 83.4%) and information content (to 98.1%). EFFECT: simplified method, decreased cost, increased precision of the method. 6 ex
