The universal hydraulic system, to transfer a mechanical movement from one point to another, has a hydraulic main cylinder (1), and one or more hydraulic take-up cylinders (2), with one or more pressure lines (5). A barrier valve (4) can be at each connection for the take-up cylinders, to control them in a variety of combinations.
