The dowel has annular protrusions (8) formed on an inner side of a dowel sleeve, and in relation to the symmetry axis, taper in the direction of the fitting opening (6). Annular spreading protrusions (9) are correspondingly formed on the outer wall of a spreading component with their pitch opposing that of the protrusions on the dowel sleeve. Clamping components (11) are located in the free spaces (10) between respective bead rows. The spreading component is covered with a compressive elastic lining (4).
