PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical semiconductor element package and an optical semiconductor device, which have high operation reliability.SOLUTION: An optical semiconductor element package 1 of the present embodiment comprises a substrate 2, a frame member 3 and a lid member 4. The optical semiconductor element package 1 further comprises a light absorption member 5 which is provided on an inner surface 4a of the lid member 4 and composed of an inorganic material. Since the light absorption member 5 can absorb stray light toward the lid member 4, light erroneously received by a light-receiving element 13 can be reduced thereby to enable inhibition of malfunction of the optical semiconductor element 11. In addition, since the light absorption member 5 is composed of an inorganic material, a gas component caused by an organic material is not generated thereby to enable inhibition of malfunction caused by adhesion of the gas component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
