<p>FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: pouring apparatus has receiver lined with refractory material and positioned laterally of furnace shaft. Receiver is communicated with furnace well lined with refractory material and provided with outlet opening. Cover with refractory liner is positioned above receiver and defines device, which screens furnace part adjoining to apparatus, when cover is in open position. Receiver bottom may be covered with refractory shock-resistant plate. Apparatus is preferably positioned in the vicinity of furnace outlet. Such construction prevents furnace from damage during pouring of liquid metal into it. EFFECT: reduced heat loss, increased service life of cooled furnace panels and reduced release of dust into atmosphere. 8 cl, 6 dwg</p> |
