1. An image device comprising:
an image capturing unit configured to capture an image in response to a shooting instruction; a first communication interface configured to connect the image device to an external device; a second communication interface configured to share, with the external device, a communication parameter used for connecting via the first communication interface the image device to the external device; and a control unit configured to start a process for sharing the communication parameter with the external device using the second communication interface in response to the shooting instruction, wherein, in a case where the process for sharing the communication parameter is started, the control unit transmits a thumbnail of the image captured with the image capturing unit to the external device via the second communication interface and transmits the image captured with the image capturing unit to the external device via the first communication interface, wherein communication performed via the second communication interface consumes lower power than communication performed via the first communication interface, and wherein, in a case where the process for sharing the communication parameter is started, the control unit transmits the thumbnail of the image captured with the image capturing unit to the external device via the second communication interface before establishing communication with the external device via the first communication interface.
