The duct consists of detachable sections which are suspended or supported on a stand. Each section is made up of two identical side plates (4) and a closing plate (5). The side plates (4) feature vertical oblong walls (6), which are equipped with outer and inner horizontal flanges (8,9) on their oblong edge sections (7). The inner flanges (9) are adjoined by vertical guide bars (10) which are connected to V-shaped fixing arms (12) via horizontal spacer bars (11). The fixing arms (12) are located next to each other at the height of the guide bars (10) and serve to fasten elastic sealing lips (17), which are pressed against each other with their free longitudinal edges. In the other oblong edge sections (19), the walls (6) are closely joined to the closing plate (5) lying opposite the fixing arms (12).
